In Fairfield, the snow/frigid weather coupled with the holiday season made for a slightly more challenging real estate environment in December. Relative to November, Fairfield saw about a 20% decline in the number of closed transactions and those in the pipeline with listing and selling prices showing some signs of pressure. Given the time of year - this is not unusual and not surprising.
